Heartsaver transition to eCards Only
Effective June 1st, 2018, all Heartsaver Course certifications will only be available as eCards

Find a Course Near You Tool launched.
Instructors now have a way to advertise in detail, their services/course offering as well as contact information including phone, email, website, maps, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In and other Social Media avenues. Students now have an easy way to search either by type course, location, instructor and any other appropriate keywords to find a Training Site / Instructor. The map features help find these resources that are convenient.
The tool is located on the side menu on the ERTSS website.
The annual fee for Training Sites / Instructors is $50 which allows them to add advertisement links in any discipline in which they are authorized to instruct.

BLS Renewal Course DVD (Classroom)
The BLS Renewal Course is for current BLS providers who need to renew their BLS skills and BLS Provider course completion card. This video-based, Instructor-led course features accelerated content that is designed for learners with existing BLS knowledge from a previous BLS Instructor-led or HeartCode BLS Course, allowing for time efficiency while teaching both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings.
Materials for the BLS Renewal Course include:
- BLS Renewal Course DVD (15-1078) or BLS Course DVD 3-Disc Set with Renewal (15-1079)
- BLS Renewal Course Resource Packet, available on the AHA Instructor Network – includes Lesson Plans, a sample course outline, and a sample course agenda
- Instructors should also review the new “Training Memo: BLS Course Options” and the updated BLS FAQ document

Heartsaver for K-12 Schools certification Cards.
AHA has announced the New Heartsaver K-12 Schools certification cards.This course completion card is exclusively for K-12 students, faculty, and staff who pass the Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED course, the Heartsaver® CPR AED course, or the Heartsaver® First Aid course when taught in the school system.
Pricing:
Traditional Paper Cards $5.50 each
eCards $5.00 each
The Heartsaver K-12 Schools Cards can only be used for the K-12 environment and are not for general Heartsaver Courses outside the schools.

New Heartsaver K-12 Schools course completion card.
New Heartsaver K-12 Schools course completion card, in ecard and print formats, will be available for order on Thursday December 14, 2017. Heartsaver K-12 Schools course completion cards may be provided to students, faculty and staff who complete an AHA Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, or a Heartsaver First Aid Course.

Created more than 10 years ago, these products are being discontinued largely because they do not meet AHA accessibility guidelines.

Heartsaver Certification Card Price Increase
The AHA has announced that all Heartsaver level certification card prices have increased effective immediately. All Heartsaver certification cards are now $20 each.
All Heartsaver Student manuals have decreased to $2.50 each.
AHA is reminding all instructors that Student Manuals are required with a few exceptions.
