ERTSS is an approved full time Training Center for the American Heart Asociation offering BCLS, ACLS and PALS deciplines. Our company is service oriented with the goal of supporting our affilliated Instructors and together providing quality AHA programs to Healthcare Professionals, Public Safety and the Community.

If you are current AHA Instructor and are considering changing Training Centers, contact us and we'll be glad to discuss what we have to offer as a full service TC. Our goal is to process and return certification cards in 1 - 2 business days. If you ready to join, download the appropriate forms ( Records Transfer Request & ERTSS Affilliation Agreement ) from our download page. Complete these forms and forward them to us via mail, fax or email.

Instructor Updates

The recertification period for AHA Instructors affilliated with ERTSS is between the months
March, April and May of the odd number year. The next scheduled Instructor update period
is the spring of 2009. All current Instructor Cards will expire July 1st of 2009. In order to renew
your Instructor certification, you must complete the following:

1. Maintain current Provider status as evidenced by current Provider card OR demonstration of acceptable Provider skills documented by the Critical Skills Checklist and successful completion of the provider examination.

2. Teach 4 courses in the 2 year recert period.

3. Attend Updates as required by the AHA and/or the TC. These updates may address new course content or methodology and review TC, regional and national ECC information.

4. Be monitored teaching a regular or renewal course in the preceding 2 years. The first monitoring after the initial Instructor Course does not satisfy this requirement.
