I’d like to let everyone know that after almost sixteen (16) years with ERTSS, Penny has decided to move on to other opportunities. Penny’s last day with ERTSS was Thursday, January 29, and she will truly be missed. Nearly everyone, whether instructor or student, who called or reached out to ERTSS benefited from Penny’s professionalism and consistently helpful demeanor.
Penny’s first day of employment was March 25, 2010 as a part-time employee working Monday – Thursday. At that time, course rosters were mailed or dropped off at ERTSS, and paper certification cards were typed and mailed back to instructors or students. Over the years, Penny’s role with ERTSS evolved, and, when working, she became our primary office phone contact while also taking on important compliance responsibilities. In the early 2020s, Penny additionally assumed the role of coordinator for all Red Cross LTP programs at ERTSS.
We wish Penny all the very best in her new opportunities and thank her for her many years of dedicated service.
