The BCLS Instructor Program is a 2 day program that teaches the instructor candidate how to use the American Heart Association BLS Training Material and conduct certification courses.
Pre-requisites:
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification card
Completed the AHA Core Instructor program with certificate.
Be prepared to demonstrate BLS skills according to the 2010 AHA Guidelines
Be prepared to take the BLS for Healthcare Providers written Exam 2010 AHA Guidelines.
After Successful completion of the BCLS Instructor Course, the instructor candidate must be monitored teaching a course within 6 calendar months of the BCLS Instructor Course.
