Heartsaver eLearning Course Options

The Heartsaver Level courses with the American Heart Association are designed for the lay rescuer. The American Heart Association offers the following courses in a Blended format.

The blended format includes both “Online eLearning and Classroom Skill Sessions”

Heartsaver CPR / AED:   Adult CPR AED with optional Child and Infant.

Heartsaver First Aid only:  First Aid for Adult

Heartsaver First Aid/ CPR/AED:  First Aid for Adult and CPR AED for Adult (Child Infant optional)

 

The eLearning portion of the Heartsaver blended learning courses and is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid, CPR and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor. These courses provide students with the convenience of completing the course at their own pace wherever they have access to the Internet. It includes interactive exercises and videos to engage students and provide periodic points of knowledge transference, along with audio and transcript for students who may have a hearing or visual disability, and much more.

Here are the steps:

Go to www.elearning.heart.org and purchase your course “Keycode”.  (Price varies depending on Course).
Complete the Online portion of the course (print certificate for online portion)
Schedule a learning, practice,Skills Checkoff session at ERTSS    $50.00 ( paid to ERTSS )  Click Here to schedule Online
Attend and complete the Learning, Practice, Skills Checkoff session.
Receive your American Heart Association (2 year) certification eCard.
