NEW ERTSS TS Benefits

The American Heart Association has recently announced New information regarding Training Site designation. This information better defined the minimum requirements to become an approved Training Site (TS). All Training Sites must meet these criteria by February 1st 2019 moving forward.

Here are the requirement to become a Training Site with ERTSS

  1. Have a current Business Legal Name and Business License
  2. Maintain at least 5 AHA Instructors who train more than a combined 250 students per year.
  3. Owns and maintains all equipment needed for teaching AHA courses, including manikins that meet the feedback device requirements.
  4. Maintains knowlege of and effectively uses the AHA Training Network applications, such as the AHA Instructor Network, eCards, eLearning, eBooks, etc.
  5. Have an active Training Site eCard Location approved by ERTSS
  6. All eCards will be processed through the Training Site “Location”. The TS Coordinator then will issue eCards to their Instructors, or directly to students who have successfully completed course requirements.
  7. eCard surveys are part of the student eCard claiming process. Training Sites must maintain a minimum score of 85, which is the AHA minimum benchmark for quality.

ERTSS is taking this opportunity to provide additional benefits to all our fully affiliated Training Sites. These benefits include:

1. A New reduced eCard pricing schedule based on volume.

2. A 10% discount on All Non-AHA products, such as manikins and other
equipment & supplies using the ERTSS/Worldpoint Portal.

3. Ability to advertise your classes on the AHA “My Courses” tool

4. No affiliation contract

5. No affilaition fee’s

6. No charge for Instructor Update courses. (Only pay for your Instructor Cards)

For organizations that partially affiliate or have split affiliation with ERTSS and another Training Center, You must meet AHA’s minimum of 250 students for the AHA disciplines with ERTSS to be classified as a TS under ERTSS. Partial or Split TS Affiliations do not qualify for the discount eCard pricing.
