Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Content
• Key changes reflecting the new science from the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
• Adult CPR and AED use
• Optional modules in child CPR and AED use and infant CPR, including child and infant choking
Textbook is Included in the course tuition.
Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.
During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice and testing.

ERTSS uses the following guidelines regarding Class Tuition Refunds when a student is unable to attend a course they have registered and paid for.
Students can cancel a class registration, by one of the options below:
1. Through their class confirmation email
2. Call ERTSS 770-716-1404
3. Email ERTSS
Full Refund:
Students who provide ERTSS with notification ( written or phone call ) of cancellation within three days of the class date, are entitled to a refund of all monies paid, excluding any credit card processing fee. Refunds will be provided within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving notice of cancellation.
NO Show / No Notification:
Students who do not attend and provide ERTSS with notification of cancellation by the end of the their scheduled course, will be considered No Show / No Notification and will forfeit their paid tuition. No Show / No Notification = No Refund.
